Florida’s presidential impact still remains infamous from over a decade ago and both candidates are looking to win the close battle over the wavering state. Governor Mitt Romney is currently holding a narrow 1-point lead, capitalizing on the independent voters with a 3-point margin.
This latest poll conducted by the non-partisan research firm Gravis Marketing surveyed 617 voters on the 13th and 14th of October. The results show that President Obama has been chiefly hurt by his job performance approval. Like most other states, President Obama holds a higher lead with female voters while Governor Romney has the edge with males
